Descriptions of Committees’ Jobs
Fund Raising: Donate money or help in soliciting donations from individuals, groups, & companies.
Welcome Reception (Wed night, after the tour): Help coordinate performers, logistics, and publicity.
Registration: Register, greet and/or guide participants, assist presenters, solicit items that can be included in the bag (pens, pads, etc.)
Souvenir Program: Coordinate with FANHS President regarding content of program, help solicit ads from NM, receive ads from other FANHS chapters, layout & coordinate with printer.
Technology: Lend us your laptops and/or projectors (or stay with presenters) during this session.
Documentation: Videotape/take photos (with your own camcorder and/or camera) during sessions. We need a chairman for this.
Publicity: Contact media and coordinate social media to generate attendance to the conference. We need a chairman for this.
Family Services: Show our hospitality to the family of participants who will bring their spouses and children (6 years old and older). The youth group will have classes in folk dancing, origami, martial arts, or kulintang. We need adult volunteers to show spouses around and accompany them to the casino and golf. We also need them to drive the youth group to the Indian Pueblo Cultural Center, etc. We need teens and young adults to assist or teach classes and/or accompany them to the tours.
