Pamana Heritage Awards are given to Filipino Americans in New Mexico and Rio Grande areas given every two years to deserving Filipino Americans who have made a difference in the mainstream society or Filipino American experience and culture.

The fourth Pamana Heritage Awards night on Sept. 22, 2007 at the MCM Elegante Hotel, Albuquerque was attended by around 145 people.  The keynote speaker was Philippine Consul General Mary Jo Bernardo Aragon who also gave the dual citizenship certificates to 15 Filipino Americans.   The awardees were introduced by the past awardees of the same category.  We want to thank our volunteers, donors, supporters and of course our awardees.  We shall continue to recognize the positive image of Filipino Americans by honoring them.  The next Pamana Awards Night will be held in September 2009.  Nomination forms will be posted in January of 2009.
